Case Study: Hazel Hannant Photographer

Overview

Hazel Hannant is a contemporary photographer based in Cardiff, Wales whose portfolio is continually evolving. Hazel is innovative in her approach and required a website that would support her brand and ethos.

Requirements

Given the nature of the business, Hazel wanted a website that she could easily update and add new photos as and when her portfolio expanded. It was really important that the website presented a professional and contemporary image using Hazel's branding. But Hazel also wanted a way in which to show her portfolio, and provide more information about the four sectors in which she specialises.

As well as having an aesthetically pleasing and functional website, it was really important that the website was easy to update and maintain - as well as add and remove pages as and when required.

Solution

Based on Hazel's requirements to following was implemented:

• Custom website design - as Hazel wanted a more unique website
• Gemview Lite Content Management System - that allowed Hazel to update and maintain her website easily
• Custom Photogallery - in line with Hazel's requirements, ComGem developed an additional module incorporating a photogallery and a rotating facility
